In a spreadsheet calculations are done using formulas. E.G. if we write =A2+A4 in cell D5, cell D5 will show the result of A2+A4. · If the contents of cell A2 where 5 and the contents of A4 where 4 what would be the resulting cell D5 after imputing the formula above?
For more complicated calculations we use functions. E.g. SUM.
For example =SUM (A1:A4) will add up the contents of cells A1, A2, A3, A4.
